The England international could now miss out on the matchday squad entirely.

The forward missed Man United’s training session on Friday through illness.

He is now a doubt for the Premier League fixture.

Ten Hag could now stick with Alejandro Garnacho on the left wing without Rashford in the squad.

Rashford has struggled for form this season despite being the club’s top scorer last campaign.

The 26-year-old has only scored two goals in the Premier League in his 14 appearances.

The Swede was not able to take part because of a knock.

He started in the win against Chelsea and has begun forming a solid partnership with Harry Maguire.
