Neighbors and emergency workers can be seen trying to put out the fire and help the victims, including two š˜¤š˜©š˜Ŗš˜š˜„ren.

The startling scene unfolded on Friday morning in Arvada,Ā ColoradoĀ ā€” a suburb of Denver.

The 1969 Beechcraft 35 careened into a fence and tree before making a rough landing on the road around 9:30 am, local Fox affiliateĀ KDVRĀ reported.

There were four passengers aboard the plane along with the pilot, according to Alex Lemishko, a senior accident investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board.

Everyone on the flight sustained burn injuries and was transported to a localĀ hospitalĀ for treatment.

The flight crashed about 15 minutes after taking off from Centennial Airport, just south of Denver, and was headed to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, another suburban airport about 30 miles northwest.

Witnesses told KDVR that neighbors were the first to pull the survivors from the crash and that no one on the ground was injured.

ā€œWe saw the explosion and the glow from the outside and said, well, wait a second,ā€Ā local Randy Hamrick told the press.

He lives with his wife in the house closest to where the plane exploded, he said.

The couple was inside their home at the time and first thought a train may have derailed from the nearby tracks when they heard the commotion, but then were afraid their house could be collapsing.

ā€œIt felt like it was falling in. I mean, it was just that violent,ā€ he said.

GOOD SAMARITANS TO THE RESCUE

The Hamricks were not the only Good Samaritans to rush to help.

EvanĀ SherlockĀ told KDVR that he wasĀ driving when he saw a plane flying extremely low before disappearing in his rearview mirror.

He quickly made a U-turn and found the plane’s debris spread out in the front yard of a home.

ā€œI couldnā€™t believe thatā€™s what I just saw. I was hoping that it was doing something else,ā€ Sherlock said.

ā€œI could see smoke coming out of it, and at first it looked like a crop duster to me. And then I was like, thereā€™s no way ā€” why would you be crop dusting in Arvada?”

I couldnā€™t believe thatā€™s what I just saw. I was hoping that it was doing something else.

Evan Sherlock

“But obviously, something was mechanically wrong with the airplane, and it was just entirely too low for it to be doing anything safe.ā€

Emergency workers were able to extinguish the fire shortly after arriving on the scene, but local reporters said the flames reignited several hours later.

Hamrick said he and his wife are still in disbelief about what happened but are thankful that the passengers in the plane are safe now.

ā€œMe and the wife have even talked about maybe going up and checking on them tomorrow in person actually,ā€ he said.
