Charley Hull is having the time of her life. After grabbing an unexpected win at the Kroger Queen City Championship, which many believed was ‘shocking’ the three-time LPGA Tour winner is all glammed up and ready to meet “her favorite person ever.” Well, if you can’t add one plus one and get two, then let us help you. It’s President Donald Trump.

An insider report claims that Charley Hull will reportedly be meeting the POTUS at Windsor Castle during his invitational dinner. The fan page ‘Charley Legion,’ which regularly updates followers on Hull’s news, and carries the bio, “We track #CharleyHull daily,” posted: “Sounds like Charley’s big glow tonight is to attend Trumps dinner visit to the UK! The banquet is being held at Windsor Castle! Trump is there on his UK state visit for a few days.” This comes moments after Hull herself dropped a teaser from her side.
Hull, carrying a fancy golden-ish satin dress, with her hair done majestically, posted a stunning selfie on her Instagram with the caption, “Swapped the golf gear for something a little more fancy.” The sentence ended with a ‘🤫’, a crown, and the Union Jack flag. Now, if anyone has been following the news, it would have become clear what Charley Hull was directing at.
President Trump is on a visit to the United Kingdom from September 16 to 18, at the invitation of King Charles III. During the second day of his visit, the POTUS and First Lady Melania Trump were hosted by His Majesty the King and Queen Camilla, with a grand ceremonial welcome, military parades, a carriage procession, and a state banquet. The latter of which, Charley Hull is seems to be a part of.

For Hull, the newly crowned champion at Cincinnati, this is a big moment. She has been very vocal with her admiration for President Trump, whom she has also called a “legend.” “I love Trump. I think he’s brilliant,” Hull said in November last year. The POTUS himself also shared this quote on his Truth Social account.
Charley Hull isn’t the only golfer who is a Trump fan. The sport’s major players have time and again shown their allegiance to the President. Bryson DeChambeau, for instance, has played with him on multiple occasions and even filmed a few YouTube challenges alongside the 45th & 47th President of the United States of America. He was also seen wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap while sharing the stage with Trump at his swearing-in ceremony.
For Hull, though, the love for the US President is more than ideology. She’s explained more than once that what she likes about Trump is his bluntness. “I like how he just say things, he doesn’t care what people think, and he’s straight to the point.” This draws echoes to Hull’s character as well. She has never hesitated while speaking her mind, often at the cost of creating controversy. Hull has visibly shown her frustration at fellow players, such as Lexi Thompson‘s slow play, and even took a jab at her when she was asked about whether she’s considering retirement. “Lexi is retiring, but not me. Definitely not me. I’ll play golf until I’m on my deathbed.”
It’s no surprise, then, that the new world number 5 would be excited to meet Mr. President. And don’t be shocked if the two end up teeing it up together in the coming days, as it’s Hull’s ultimate dream.
Donald Trump is in Charley Hull’s favorite four-ball team
Charley Hull once made it clear who she would want on her four-ball team. In a video that went viral a while back, Hull revealed that her dream four-ball team includes Tiger Woods, Seve Ballesteros, and President Trump. Hull has often said that Ballesteros was her favorite player growing up, and then everyone knows that she has often been called Lady Tiger Woods, even if she doesn’t like that comparison. But yeah, among this list is also Trump, which should not come as a surprise.
Trump is a golfer himself, often seen playing on one of his many courses in the country. His ties to the sport run deep, including his attempts to ease the tensions between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. So it’s not all that surprising that Hull would want him on her team. With her admiration for him so openly on display, the apparent meeting at Windsor Castle might feel less like a coincidence and more like a full-circle moment in Charley Hull’s journey.
