A 17-year-old extraordinary youngster receives a scholarship worth over $1.5 million to attend any US university.
Omarion Ikaika Calloway, a bright 17-year-old boy, has received scholarships worth up to $1.5 million that he can use to enroll in any of the 21 universities where he has been admitted to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Omarion, who graduated from Park Crossing High School in Montgomery, Alabama, received acceptance letters from 21 American universities due to his excellence in high school.
New York University, Howard University in Washington, DC, and Hampton University in Virginia are a few of the institutions that admitted him. Omarion’s mother, Tiffany, declared, “I’m a grateful and joyful mother, and I am incredibly proud of him.
Omarion had a difficult life; at the age of 10, he took care of his autistic uncle who was crippled and his grandmother. He took charge of looking after them while his mother was working two jobs, doing so until she got home. He was in charge of many things, such as meal preparation, medication administration, and making sure his uncle had his daily insulin injections to control his diabetes.
Omarion has always dreamt of studying at New York University, New York, United States and was inspired by his grandmother who later died.
After his grandmother’s death, Omarion made it his purpose to get into his dream school. On December 15, 2021, he finally received the news that he had been admitted into his dream school, New York University, and says that a big weight was lifted from his shoulders.
“As his mother, I remain so proud of him that tears well up in my eyes just thinking about him being accepted into his dream school. All a mother wants is for her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 to have the best life possible,” Omarion’s mother said.
