The MLB season is coming to a close with many teams still fighting for a playoff spot.
One team we know will not be in the playoffs is the Los Angeles Angels.
But, they at least are making news thanks to a couple of their star players.
Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout are two of the most popular players in baseball once again.
According to FOX Sports: MLB, Trout and Ohtani are both on the list of the ten best-selling jerseys.
It makes sense for Ohtani to be on the list because he has been amazing this year.
But, Trout is still quite popular despite being injured most of the year.

Looking at the names on this list you can see many of the faces of baseball.
Even after 13 MLB seasons, Trout continues to sell merchandise.
People still love to see him play and show support by buying his merchandise.
Just imagine what would happen if the Angles made the playoffs one of these years.
It would be great for MLB and would bring many more eyes to the postseason.
But, there is at least a decent chance that Ohtani decides to walk from the Angels this offseason.
He is a free agent, and their inability to win is why Ohtani is considering moving on.
It will be interesting to see what Ohtani decides to do this offseason.
You can bet that if he leaves, his jersey sales will continue to skyrocket as a part of a new team.
