Kevin Durant, the star of the Golden State Warriors, made the dreams of young fans come true on July 20, 2023. He met with over 100 young fans at a shopping mall in New York City and signed shoes and balls for them.
The meet-and-greet began at noon. Young fans lined up for hours to meet Durant. When he arrived, the young fans were thrilled. They cheered and waved to Durant.
Durant took the time to talk to each young fan. He signed shoes and balls for them, as well as taking photos with them. Durant also answered questions from the young fans about his basketball career.
One of the young fans who attended the meet-and-greet was a boy named David. David said that he is a big fan of Durant. “I’m so happy I got to meet him,” David said. “He’s a really great person.”
Another young fan who attended the meet-and-greet was a girl named Sarah. Sarah said that she is in awe of Durant’s talent. “He’s an amazing basketball player,” Sarah said. “I really look up to him.”
Durant said that he was happy to meet the young fans. “I love meeting my fans, especially the young fans,” Durant said. “I want to inspire them and help them pursue their dreams.”
