Fast & Furious trailers are always a lot of fun to create. I also make sure I do better each time. I’m grateful to say that this version goes in one of the best Fast & Furious trailers in the channel. Diving in I did not expect it to be this good. The challenge is the beginning, it must make sense since Fast X ended in a cliffhanger. Similarly with the previews versions I started the trailer with Bryan O’Conner. I build it up by only showing his iconic WRX Subaru car then I got creative and showed a clip of a guy walking in the perspective of his shoe then finally reveal its Bryan O’Conner. Then once again he gets a call from Hobbs, this time he already knew about the news with Dom because Mia told him.
The best part of the trailer is that the characters talking scene matched the voice so it looks more realistic. Act 2 is establishing the plot about our characters realizing that the only way for them to beat Dante Reyes is by going old school. Going back to their roots like the first Fast film is the idea that was teased by Vin Diesel, and based on the rumors that the 11th installment would have half the budget. This is also the perfect way to end the franchise. Another best part is the wording sequence, I put “still going fast” “Still going furious” which sounds similar to the song lyrics saying “still going bad” to “still going fast”.
