LeBron James is being courted by an NFL player for his team.

In a bold move, Cleveland Browns safety Rodney McLeod Jr. made a pitch to NBA superstar LeBron James, suggesting that he should return to Cleveland—not to play basketball, but to suit up for the Browns at the tight end position.

McLeod floated the idea, stating, “We could use somebody to complement (David) Njoku over there for sure. You could never have enough. I would say it’s good to have a great tandem.”

Considering LeBron’s massive 6’9″ and 250-pound frame alongside Njoku’s 6’4” stature and similar weight, the potential duo is intriguing.

However, McLeod acknowledged that while LeBron possesses the size and athleticism, he may not be quite ready for the league’s toughest defensive players.

“The only problem is, I’m not sure if LeBron is actually ready to take on a guy like Myles Garrett just yet, put his hand in the dirt,” he said. “So, we’re going to have to save LeBron for third downs, red zone, passing situations.”

During his high school years, James proved himself as a standout football player.

Despite his basketball dominance, he spent two seasons on the gridiron at St. Vincent – St. Mary’s High School, where he was ranked as Ohio’s No. 1 football prospect at one point.
