The French have difficulty expecting Mbappe when he gets into money troubles

Coming to Germany for Euro 2024, through a lawyer, Mbappe officially sued the PSG team for 100 million euros in salary and bonuses owed to him from April 2024 until now.

PSG is not foolish enough to suddenly steal Mbappe’s money. They have their reasons and are also angry at him, when Mbappe left on a free transfer (to Real Madrid), so they kept all his salary, bonuses, loyalty money… . since April with a total value of up to 100 million euros.

It is difficult for a player to concentrate on playing when he is involved in a lawsuit worth up to 100 million euros. Not to mention, Mbappe also suffered a nose injury. Mbappe wore a mask, played and scored in an hour-long closed-door friendly match on June 22, as he aims to return to play at Euro 2024.

The Real Madrid striker appeared in the match against German U.21 team Pader𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 as part of a French team that included players who played cameos or were not substitutes in the previous night’s match against the Netherlands.

Despite suggestions in training that he was improving and could contribute in some way, Mbappe remained on the bench, unused against the Netherlands.

“I did not deceive Kylian (Mbappe) at all,” coach Deschamps said when asked about Mbappe after the match. “If it had been the decisive match, maybe I would have thought twice. There is a risk and every day we get closer. It would be wiser to keep him on the bench.”

The French team will carry out one more light training session at their base before departing for Dortmund on June 24, where they will train at the stadium the night before the match against Poland.

Back in May 2024, Mbappe confirmed his decision to leave PSG, where he scored 256 goals, because he needed “a new challenge after 7 years”.

Previously, in February 2024, Mbappe informed PSG that he would not activate an additional year of options in his contract. The decision means he will leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season. Soon after, the striker confirmed his choice with his PSG teammates and head coach Luis Enrique.

The big bosses at PSG feel they have lost face in this deal. Money to them is a small thing. But the Arab owners feel that they were manipulated by Mbappe and Real Madrid President Perez in the biggest transfer deal of the summer of 2024. But maybe PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi either likes to behave in an “eagle” style. , or too naive.

Previously, Mbappe  had confirmed that he would give up his loyalty money (about 80 million euros) as committed to PSG in order to leave freely. However, President Nasser Al-Khelaifi is said to still pay this amount as a noble gesture to convince Mbappe to stay.

But now, facing the risk of losing money, PSG wants to retain all of Mbappe’s salary and bonuses to deduct from the loyalty fee. Furthermore, the confirmation that Mbappe gave up his loyalty amount of 80 million euros is only a verbal agreement between the parties. PSG wants a document to confirm the agreement. However, after many negotiations, the parties still have not been able to come to an agreement, so it is likely that in the near future before the court, many things will be revealed to the world.

This lawsuit will probably continue for a long time, perhaps even through 2025. What French fans, FFF and coach Deschamps need right now is an Mbappe who is wholeheartedly devoted to the  Euro 2024 campaign .

It sounds easy to say, but if you try putting on your shoes on the field, while you are involved in a lawsuit (10 million VND, 100 million VND, 1 billion VND, for example…), how will you behave? It’s very difficult to play sublime football when someone is cheating/cheating you 10 million VND. Over here, the amount is up to 100 million euros, that’s what Mbappe thinks.

As for PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, he will think of a plan to avoid being “pissed off” by Mbappe and Real Madrid and regain the honor of the Qatari Royal Family. As mentioned above, for Arab owners, 100 million euros is nothing to them.
