A WOMAN connected to the murder of a top Hollywood consultant has pleaded guilty.
The confession comes after the woman was charged with first-degree murder.

Jamelah Elena Michl appeared before a Los Angeles judge on Monday and pled guilty to the murder of marketing exec Michael Latt, reported the Associated Press.
According to the outlet, the woman was charged with first-degree murder and first-degree residential burglary.
She was held on $3 million bail.
Michl, 36, also pleaded guilty to using a firearm during the attack – a felony offense in the state of California.
The suspect currently faces a maximum sentence of life in prison, with no parole considered for 25 years.
Prosecutors told the Associated Press that Michl’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 10.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said that Michl targeted Latt, 33, for being friends with a woman she had been stalking.
Prosecutors said that Michl – who was homeless at the time – banged on Latt’s door on the night of November 27, 2023, and subsequently forced herself inside.
The woman, who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, fired multiple shots at the man.
Latt was later rushed to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Police later stated that the suspect was living in her car close to Latt’s home.
Latt’s fiancée, Hannah Lovingood, was home at the time of the shooting.
“Our hearts ache for the loss of a passionate advocate who believed in the principles of justice and equity within our criminal legal system,” District Attorney George Gascón said.
“It is devastating to see a life cut short, especially one dedicated to fighting for a more just society.

Born to film producers David Latt and Michelle Satter, Latt served as the marketing advisor for several top-tier companies such as Netflix, Warner Brothers and Annapurna Pictures
Latt graduated from Chapman University and immediately put his s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s to use by heading the digital marketing campaign for Ryan Coogler’s “Fruitvale Station.”
In addition to his marketing job, Latt was also the founder and CEO of Lead With Love, a firm where he worked to elevate the voices and work of Black creatives and others in underrepresented communities.

Court documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times revealed that Michl had allegedly been stalking the Hollywood director A.V. Rockwell prior to the shooting.
Rockwell, who had worked with the suspect when she was an extra on her film A Thousand and One, had filed a restraining order against Michl.
Michl began to stalk Rockwell after shooting for the production wrapped in 2021, the 85-page restraining order request stated per the Los Angeles Times.
The request revealed that Michl began stalking the famous director shortly after Rockwell refused to engage in a personal relationship.
According to the request, Michl began sending her former director a gift box as well as sending distressing letters and notes, threatening self-harm.
Investigators believe things took a more serious turn when Latt and Rockwell were photographed together at the Sundance Film Festival, where Rockwell’s film won the grand jury prize.
After the premiere, Michl wrote to a staff member: “Just wanted to ask you to pass on my congrats to AV!!!”
“I know l probably went a little overboard with the gift box I sent her LOL. But l’m hoping now after all the rave reviews and people telling her how much the film meant to them that she sees why I went all out and knows how incredible she is.”
In an ominous letter to Rockwell before the shooting, she warned, “My Glock is loaded” and “One pull of the trigger, and I’ll be free.”
