A Teenager Breaks A Record At US Morehouse College

A young and brilliant American man named Jalen Brown has set an outstanding record at Morehouse College in the United States after becoming the first-ever person to earn a degree in Journalism from the institution.

Jalen Brown who has a series of experiences as a journalist was a beneficiary of a $1 million donation made to Morehouse College by Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand in 2021 to establish Journalism as a major course.

Announcing his achievement, Jalen Brown tweeted saying, “My name is Jalen Brown, and I am the FIRST person to receive a Journalism degree in Morehouse College’s 156-year history!”

He attached an image of himself wearing the university’s graduation cap.

Professor Nicole Carr, a Lecturer at Morehouse College congratulated him for his exceptional achievement. She expressed her happiness to have him in her classroom watching him thrive through all his internships.

“Proud of you, Jalen. Happy to have had you in my classroom for two semesters-watching you thrive in your newsroom internships, grow as a writer and think critically about the ways in which we tackle our industry issues today. You are a strong storyteller,” she wrote on Twitter.
