Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ futures are decided upon by Andy Reid during the Kansas City Chiefs’ NFL bye week

Mahomes spent Wednesday night in Kansas City for a major sports event. The Week 6 bye plans of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes seem to support Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s decision to let his players do what they feel like doing this week.

The two NFL players just defeated the New Orleans Saints on Monday night football in Week 5.

The Chiefs, who have won all five of their season’s opening games, have every excuse to relax during their week off.

In his plans for the Week 6 bye, Mahomes mentioned that he’ll be spending time with his family.

Speaking to reporters following Monday night’s victory, Mahomes grinned and added, “I’ll be spending most of my time running around with the kids.”

“It won’t be a lot of relaxation, but I’m looking forward to it.”

Mahomes essentially attested to the fact that Reid, the head coach of the Chiefs, has given his players permission to take this week off.

Kelce said on his New Heights podcast that he will be doing something this week, but he wouldn’t say what.

Travis said, “Of course I do,” to Jason Kelce, his brother and an NFL legend, when he was questioned about his bye-week plans.

“Will you tell anybody?” Then Jason enquired.

“No, but if any of it comes out I’m sure we’ll be talking about it on the show,” Travis replied.

He’ll probably hang out with Taylor Swift, the pop icon and his girlfriend.

On a live MNF broadcast, quarterback Patrick Mahomes sends a five-word note to his family as he leads the Kansas City Chiefs to a victory over the Saints.

Later this month, the 14-time Grammy winner will return to Miami for her renowned Eras Tour.

In December, the tour will come to an end in Vancouver, Canada.

After being photographed with Swift on an East Coast flight on Tuesday night, Kelce talked about his plans for his bye week.

The 34-year-old made an appearance at Monday’s Kansas City game for Kelce.

Throughout the game, he had nine receptions for 70 yards.

Swift had missed the first two road NFL games that he had missed.

After connecting 16 times in their last two games, Kelce and Mahomes appear to have rekindled their relationship.

Over the course of the preceding three bouts, they had connected eight times.

In contrast to Kelce, Mahomes has already shared his off-field exploits with the public.

The two-time NFL MVP made an appearance in a suite for Wednesday night’s Kansas City Royals ALDS Game 3 loss to the New York Yankees.

Mahomes might be there at Thursday night’s elimination game, as the Yankees lead the series 2-1 and need to win one more to get to the ALCS.

In Week 7, Kansas City’s next game will be a road trip to play the San Francisco 49ers.
