Victoria Beckham is reminiscing about her dating days with David Beckham over wine and roses.

In an Instagram video promoting her new perfume Victoria Beckham Beauty Suite 302, Victoria Beckham (50 years old) shared a memorable story about a date more than 2 decades ago with her husband David Beckham (49 years old).

Victoria began the video posted on November 16 sitting on a luxurious sofa, telling fans that she was going to a restaurant in Paris where she and David Beckham used to go on dates together in the 1990s. “The restaurant really took me back in time. There’s something very glamorous about Paris, it feels very luxurious, very 𝓈ℯ𝓍y. When we went here in the 1990s, I remember ordering a really special bottle of wine. Back then, we struggled to finish it. Now we both seem to have no problem with that,” Victoria said of the place where she met her husband.

Victoria later recalled everything as “over the top”, noting that the “strong smell of cigarettes” at the restaurant was very Parisian, taking her back to the 1990s.

“The heavy curtains, the velvet couches, the color palette, the little tassels on the chairs. I love how we took all those elements and brought them together to create Victoria Beckham Beauty Suite 302,” Victoria added.

“I love coming back here because it’s our happy place. I love the people, and of course the wine,” Victoria continued about the Paris restaurant.

The former Spice Girl revealed that the person she imagines smelling the scent is elegant and regal. “I really wanted to capture how I feel right now and how David feels. It’s a celebration of both of us. It’s about our special time in Paris in the 1990s.”

According to the Victoria Beckham Beauty website, the fragrance features notes of black cherry, leather and tobacco, symbolizing “the romantic traces of a memorable trip to Paris and symbolizing the memory of pure seduction.”

The mother of four is known for sharing personal stories when it comes to her fragrances, Vogue reports .

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham launched her beauty line in 2019. Decades ago, she met David Beckham at a Manchester United match when he was playing football in 1997. The two married in 1999.

The former professional footballer told People magazine in September 2024 that he “absolutely” fell in love with Victoria Beckham at first sight. “She was a Spice Girl, 𝓈ℯ𝓍y, beautiful and glamorous. Then I found out she was a strong woman,” David recalled.
