“He came right back” – NBA fans hype Steph Curry as Warriors star responds to Anthony Edwards’ recent trash talk with a win

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors won their rematch against Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves 114-106 on Sunday. The Dubs lost 107-90 on Friday before recovering to get back at their opponents. Curry’s efficient scoring night was crucial to the Warriors’ bounce-back win.

Steph Curry did not shoot well in the loss to the Timberwolves. He had 23 points on 6-for-17 shooting, including 3-for-9 from deep. On Sunday’s win, he had 30 points behind an 8-for-18 clip with 5-for-11 efficiency from behind the arc. Curry also had better support from across the roster to win the rematch.

Buddy Hield, limited to four points in the first encounter, scattered 27 points in the win. Jonathan Kuminga also helped carry the offense with 20 points.

Anthony Edwards, who kept talking trash to the Warriors on Friday, had another good game, but the Dubs were ready for him. Ant Man had a couple of turnovers that the Warriors punished him for.

Steph Curry’s Warriors executed better and limited their turnovers in the win against the Timberwolves

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors repeatedly shot themselves in the foot in the blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. They committed 22 turnovers, five of which happened in the fourth quarter and finished the game with 21 assists.

Meanwhile, Minnesota made 21 errors, two coming in the fourth quarter, and tallied 32 assists. The Timberwolves had the more dynamic offense and played with more force in their win.

The Dubs took care of the ball better and improved their execution in the rematch. They committed 13 turnovers and dished out 28 assists. Minnesota had 16 errors and assisted in 22 field goals. Winning the turnover and assist battles were key in the Warriors getting payback for their loss on Friday.

Golden State’s defense also stepped up, forcing Anthony Edwards to a game-high six turnovers.
