A 2022 episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians showed viewers a glimpse of Kim Kardashian’s warehouse aka her ‘fashion archive.’ The billionaire TV personality revisited her massive storage unit in the episode to discover her new “fashion era” after her divorce from rapper Kanye West.

Kardashian first appeared on E! channel’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She kept up her media presence with several spin-off shows and now she currently appears in The Kardashians. While Kim K rose to fame with her family’s reality TV show, it was her business ventures that got her to the ten-figure fortune.

The Kardashians premiered in 2022 with its core focus on the style evolution of the Kardashian sisters. It was a retooled version of their earlier family reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In the seventh episode of the Hulu series, Kim Kardashian took the viewers through her fashion archive. She intended to find her new fashion era by revisiting her different styles over the years.

She claimed in the episode that her ex-husband Kanye West had a huge role to play in her previous fashion choices. The couple were together from 2014 to 2021. Kardashian shared in the episode that Kanye was always there “as this crutch to teach me so much about fashion.” She was accompanied by her friend Tracey Romulus to go through the fashion archive and find inspiration.

Of course, Kardashian has no plans to wear any of the cloth pieces hanging in the warehouse in the future. As for the rough number of clothes that this warehouse held, Kardashian shared, “I have thousands and thousands of clothes. I think I have 30,000 pieces.”

She could’ve easily got rid of them and made buttloads of money but she had other plans. She shared, “I love seeing all this stuff. I just want to see where I’ve been and where I want to go.” She admitted in the episode that dressing herself had been her biggest insecurity since her divorce, which is fair considering that she spends a good amount of time in front of the camera.

The episode saw Kardashian making a stand for herself. She shared, “I do know what looks good on me and I know exactly what I like and I know exactly what I want.” She added that she just needed to “drown out all of the voices” who were telling her what they liked or what she needed to wear.

Kim Kardashian used her TV fame to launch successful businesses and market the hell out of them. She was part of some very profitable business ventures, starting with Dash Fashion. Kardashian and her sisters launched Dash Fashion in 2006, which was functioning until 2018 when the stores eventually closed down.

In 2017, she introduced KKW Beauty and launched the brand’s Creme Contour Kits. In 2020, she reportedly sold 20% of KKW to Coty for a massive $200 million. She revamped KKW Beauty into the skincare line SKKN in 2022.

Kardashian launched the undergarments brand Skims in 2019. The brand has some famous investors including billionaires Stephen Mandel, Daniel Sundheim, and Josh Kushner. Interestingly, Kanye West also reportedly has a 5% stake in the shapewear brand. According to Bloomberg, Skims was worth $4 billion in 2023, contributing massively to her net worth.

Kardashian, who grew up on television, recently made waves when she signed a deal with Disney’s 20th Television to create various shows (via Variety). Her first project is titled Group Chat, a series inspired by La La Anthony’s book The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex and Happiness. According to Forbes, Kim Kardashian has an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion.
