Jay-Z was spotted quietly supporting his wife Beyoncé during the halftime show on Christmas Day as the Baltimore Ravens played the Houston Texans.
Fans spotted Jay-Z inside the NRG Stadium in Houston (USA) with the couple’s 7-year-old daughter – Rumi – and the singer’s mother, Tina Knowles, and former Destiny’s Child member – Michelle Williams.
In the clip shared on Instagram, Jay-Z, 55, walks through the stadium while holding a bottle of champagne, his family following closely behind.
Jay-Z wore a cardigan, white T-shirt, black pants, a black beanie and sunglasses to the event, while Tina, 70, and Williams, 45, showed their support for Beyoncé ‘s country album Cowboy Carter by wearing white cowboy hats.
Meanwhile, Rumi looked adorable in a cream sweater, white skirt and pink Chanel crossbody bag.
Beyoncé, 43, began the 13-minute performance with a dramatic appearance on horseback in a crystal-covered white bodysuit, leather pants and cowboy hat.
The artist performed several hits from the album Cowboy Carter , including 16 Carriages , Ya Ya , Jolene .
Post Malone joined Beyoncé on stage for their collaboration Levi’s Jeans . She and Shaboozey dueted on Sweet Honey Buckiin ‘.
Beyoncé also covered The Beatles’ song Blackbird with singers Tanner Adell, Brittany Spencer, Reyna Roberts and Tiera Kennedy.
Her and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter – Blue Ivy, 12 – attracted attention when she joined her mother as a backing dancer as Beyoncé ended her performance with her chart-topping hit Texas Hold ‘Em .
Some fans thought Beyoncé’s Christmas performance would be canceled after Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl alongside his longtime friend and collaborator Sean “Diddy” Combs at a home party in 2000.
The victim initially filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder, also 55, and said an unnamed male celebrity also took part in the act while an unidentified female celebrity watched.
On December 8, the lawsuit was amended to name Jay-Z as the male celebrity.
In the lawsuit, the victim claims she attended Diddy’s MTV Video Music Awards after-party and began feeling “groggy” after having a glass of wine.
She alleges that the two rappers entered the bedroom where she was sleeping before Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, held her down while Diddy raped her, then Jay-Z. The plaintiff claims in her lawsuit that the unnamed celebrity woman watched and did not intervene.
Jay-Z has vehemently denied the allegations and claimed the woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, was trying to “blackmail” him. Diddy has also denied his involvement in the alleged rape through his representative.
On December 13, the victim gave an interview to NBC News, in which she admitted that her testimony about Jay-Z had many inconsistencies. When asked about her father’s inability to confirm this, she told reporters: “He said or did something in New York around that time that he doesn’t remember. It really caused a lot of arguments in the family…”
