More than a few celebrities out there are proud to label themselves as Taylor Swift fans. While this might not be the case for U.S. tennis star Frances Tiafoe, there’s no denying that the decorated 27-year-old athlete holds Swift in very high regard.
In a recent interview on Tennis TV, Tiafoe recalled his experience meeting Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce during a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium back in November. It turned out to be quite a memorable encounter.
“We go into this suite, and the first person we see in this suite is Taylor,” Tiafoe relayed. “I’m like, ‘Try to act like you’ve been here before.’
“It’s crazy because — I’m not saying I’m a Swiftie — but I appreciate greatness so much. Seeing how cool she was, she’s got my ultimate respect.”

Tiafoe went on to share how Swift was “very knowledgeable” about his tennis career and how she told him that she and Kelce enjoyed watching him play at the U.S. Open in New York back in September.
Tiafoe had nothing but good things to say about the “Fortnight” singer.
“We were drinking all day together,” he recalled. “She was so cool. One of the most humble people for who she is. Super down to earth. She’s amazing, and hopefully, we can do that again.”
Tiafoe will be back on the court on Tuesday at the 2025 Mexican Open. The World No. 7 seed will start off his tournament against Frenchman Alexandre Muller in the Round of 32.
While Swift and Kelce likely won’t be in attendance to cheer him on again, it is clear that they are fans of the U.S. tennis sensation.
