The Conjuring 2 (2016), directed by James Wan, is the sequel to the hit “The Conjuring” (2013). This installment continues the story of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played once again by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
The film is inspired by true events and explores another case of terror investigated by the Warrens.Set in 1977, the film follows the Warrens as they travel to Enfield, England, to investigate a series of supernatural occurrences at the Hodgson family home. The Hodgson family, particularly young Janet Hodgson, are plagued by disturbing and seemingly demonic phenomena. The Warrens must uncover the truth behind the terror while confronting their own fears and doubts.
