Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra attended the 2025 Met Gala on Monday night looking next level chic, and now everyone’s reading wayyyy too far into them standing slightly further apart than usual in photos. Truly…let them live!
Body language expert Judi James even weighed in, telling the Daily Mail that the couple’s poses look “less tactile and less flirtatious” than the norm, and that “Nick seems to have brought one facial expression with him here and it’s a rather fierce, serious look, aimed at the banks of cameras with no sign here smiling or gazing at his wife.”
She also said that “they missed a beat this year in terms of their signature sensual, fun posing” and that “there was little in the way of playful joy in their facial expressions either. Both looked more tense than usual, even during their interview.”
Mmmkay…but to be fair, Priyanka was wearing a truly massive skirt when she and Nick first stepped out, making more intimate posing slightly tricky. Once she took it off, things got cozier:
