Giannis Antetokounmpo Says His Superteam With Michael Jordan And Magic Johnson Would Beat Other Legendary NBA Superteams

There are few things as fun as debating hypotheticals when it comes to the NBA. Who is the GOAT, which superstars would be unstoppable if they teamed up, and which players are Top 10 in NBA history, these are all questions fans are regularly debating.

Recently a page shared four different teams made up of the game’s greatest players. One of those teams had Giannis Antetokounmpo teaming up with Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Dirk Nowitzki, and Nikola Jokic. And the Greek Freak responded to the post, saying that the team would beat all the other ones.

“Team 3 all day,” Giannis wrote, despite the other teams having combinations that include Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, as well as a team that sees LeBron James paired up with Tim Duncan and Shaquille O’Neal.

All of these teams seem quite balanced, but Giannis’ take makes a lot of sense. His team would have the greatest point guard and shooting guard of all time in Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.

Dirk Nowitzki and Nikola Jokic both have range, while Jokic’s playmaking in the post would be incredible as well. Giannis would have the lane to attack the basket seemingly at will, too, making the team nearly unstoppable.

The only question mark might be on defense, Magic, Dirk, and Jokic are all known to be fairly average on the defensive end. But any team that has Michael Jordan guarding the perimeter and Giannis Antetokounmpo inside will get by just fine defensively.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Seems Ready To Shut The Haters Up Next Season

Giannis Antetokoummpo averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game last season, putting himself in the MVP conversation as he does every year. But the season ended in disappointment for him and his team as the No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks were unceremoniously dumped out of the playoffs by the Miami Heat.

Giannis’ immediate reaction regarding questions of failure showed that he has the fire to bounce back from it. And he has since said all the things that suggest another monster season from him next year. He is looking buff, and the Bucks have brought back Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez to keep the roster together for another title challenge.

The Greek Freak is also sending messages to his haters at every opportunity and seems to have all the confidence in the world at the moment. A motivated Giannis is a scary thought for the NBA and the next one promises to be a big season for him.
