Keanu Reeves gave each of his stunt performers a rare engraved watch as a wrap gift for John Wick: Chapter 4.
The actor presented the stunt team from the latest John Wick film with £7,300 (AUD $10,000) Rolex watches to say thank you for bringing the epic film’s fight scenes to life.
While Reeves is known for his wholesome, nice guy image, this takes things to a new level.
The star was reportedly at Le Bistro Paul Bert in Paris with the four stunt workers, Bruce Lee Concepcion, Jeremy Marinas, Dave Camarillo and Li Qiang, where he presented the shiny new toy.

He debuted the brand new, personalised Rolex Submariners, a model the company says is the ‘first divers’ wristwatch waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet)’, launched in 1953.
According to Robb Report, the Matrix actor opted for the edition released in September 2020, Ref. 126610LN, which retails at £7,300 (AUD $10,074).
The watch features an ‘Oystersteel case topped with a black unidirectional Cerachrom bezel, a matching dial with large luminescent hour markers, Rolex’s signature cyclops magnifying lens and an Oyster bracelet’.
The outlet also says these watches are fairly hard to get due to the incredible demand around it. Not only was he able to get just one, but another four is seriously impressive.
However, the actor didn’t stop there as he engraved each watch with a personal message.
“The John Wick Five,” the inscription on the back said.
Along with the crew member’s name, the message added: “Thank you…Keanu…JW4 2021.”
It’s safe to say the stuntmen were overly chuffed.

Additionally, Reeves also gifted the stunt performers with ‘death count’ T-shirts, as many had been 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed multiple times in the entire film. For some, the number was 20.
Following the colossal success of the fourth instalment, Lionsgate revealed to Deadline that they aren’t ready to say goodbye to the franchise just yet.
Joe Drake, the company’s group chair, was so thrilled that the fourth Wick had made USD $137 million (AUD $205 million) in its opening weekend that he couldn’t fathom letting go of that cash cow.
“We’re not ready to say goodbye to Keanu with this franchise,” he told Deadline.
He added he and his team are already developing an ‘alternative’.
“There’s a lot of different things that we can do,” Drake said.
So, it looks like Reeves potentially might have to purchase a couple more Rolexes if a fifth gets the green light.
