Manchester United secure young striker Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta
Rasmus Hojlund, a striker for Atalanta, has signed a five-year contract with Manchester United.
The 20-year-old has an option for another year, which would extend his spell at Old Trafford until 2029. He scored 27 goals in 87 games for the Serie A club, and he has tallied six goals in six games for Denmark.
Hojlund made the following statement to the club’s website: “It is no secret that I have been a fan of this great club since I was a small boy and I dreamed of walking out at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player.”
