Being a celebrity has its own set of drawbacks. The lives of famous people and their families often include trying moments. And the same happened with Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant when they had to deal with a real-life psychotic stalker like Penn Badgley’s character Joe in the TV thriller You.
In addition to receiving accolades for his successful films, Reeves has also been referred to as a caring boyfriend. So, when he and his girlfriend had to deal with a relentless stalker earlier this year, ‘Hollywood’s nicest guy’ took drastic measures to protect himself and the love of his life.
Keanu Reeves
Keanu Reeves has been grabbing the spotlight as a Hollywood star since the 1980s. Depending on your age, you may have seen him first in the 1980s in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, or you may have discovered him in The Matrix movie. The list of his hit films is huge, whether it is the Bill & Ted franchise or John Wick; he has excelled in all of them.
The now-58-year-old is undeniably successful, but success comes with its own drawbacks. Keanu Reeves has dealt with numerous obsessed fans over the years. And most recently, another alleged stalker, Bryan Keith Dixon, has been harassing the star and his girlfriend.

The individual even attempted to break into Reeves’ Los Angeles County home and once left a DNA kit on Reeves’ doorstep. The stalker has been claiming to be his relative and has also made six uninvited appearances between November 2022 and January 2023.
How Keanu Reeves protected his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant
Keanu Reeves obtained a restraining order against the stalker who harassed him and his girlfriend and trespassed on his property. In addition to this, the actor also hired a security firm to investigate the stalker. His team found that the stalker had posted disturbing messages on social media and called himself ‘Jasper Keith Reeves’.
Dixon wants to put the Hollywood star in charge of him and sign over all his personal rights to Reeves. The stalker also has a criminal history estimated to span two decades.
In 2009, Keanu Reeves also had to deal with a crazy fan named Karen Sala, who said Reeves was the father of her four grown-up 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. The star had to go through a court battle with her, where Sala asked for $3 million per month in spousal support and $150,000/month in 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 support.
