The cabin is near Colfax and Rollins Lake, Truckee, and the Ski Resorts of SugarBowl and Boreal. The cottage measures 1,000 square feet. It has charming details like a wood fireplace and a deep tub. The cottage is pet- and kid-friendly.

The cottage plan is nestled between the two hamlets. You can drive or walk east to Alta’s center about 1/4 mile, where you will find a convenience store. Or walk or drive west until you reach the charming historic Dutch Flat, which is an absolute delight to explore. The cottage plan includes a large master suite with a desk and a recliner that can be used for relaxing or work. Wi-Fi is AT&T excellent for online courses or distance learning, communications, or multi-purpose or business zooming. A king-sized bed can be used with ample space for a crib (crib) or a cot. The cottage’s backyard is unobstructed and provides privacy and a sense of escape. The upstairs room is appropriately named the treehouse loft and has 2 full-sized bedrooms. This cottage is ideal for 2 or 3 people.

The cottage is situated on the property’s 3.5-acre middle. There are trails that can be walked or hiked through the forest. There are also many other forests to explore. A fenced yard is available for your dog to enjoy. The cottage is located on 3.5 acres of beautiful conifer forest, which includes Pine, Fir, Manzanita and Madrone trees. There are hiking trails all around the property. A 9-hole disc golf course is available for your enjoyment. There is also a campfire pit with seating. The vacation property is extremely private. You rarely or barely see any neighbor’s homes. It is truly nestled in the forest. You will find forest trails throughout the property. From the driveway, you can access the tranquil and beautiful trails and walks that run alongside the irrigation streams (canals) across the street.

The Dutch Flat swimming pool is a great local attraction in summer. It is a large pool with a walk-in, set amongst tall conifers. It also has a volleyball court and lifeguards to keep you and your 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren safe. It is only a half-mile walk or ride from the cottage. This is a wonderful place to visit on warm summer days. The summit Ski Resorts are approximately 30 miles from the resort in winter.
