There’s more than one superstar coming up within the James family as Bryce has received a lot of praise just like older brother Bronny, with dad LeBron proudly watching on
Bryce Maximus James is one of the young prospects to watch in basketball, and a compilation of his summer highlights has gone viral with even his father LeBron reacting to it.
No player has scored more points in NBA history than LeBron James, as the Los Angeles Lakers star topped Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s long-lasting record during the 2022-23 season. James may not have many years left in the NBA as he slowly approaches the age of 40, but his legacy may continue through his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
James has two sons, Bryce and Bronny; the latter is currently recovering from a cardiac arrest suffered during a practice session at the University of Southern California. Bronny is still a top NBA prospect and expected to bounce back, but LeBron may have two sons that make it to the big league.
Bryce is only 16, but a selection of clips uploaded on social media showed the teenager dominating his peers. LeBron shared the video on Twitter, and said: “No substitute for hard work! Keep going Maximus!! Only the beginning #JamesGang.”
The 16-year-old will play for Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, in the 2023-24 season. Bryce was set to transfer to Campbell Hall in Studio City, California, but reconsidered according to ESPN.
Until now Bryce had played with older brother Bronny at Sierra Canyon High School, but now both of the James’ have left and moved on to new teams. Bryce has already been training with the Knights at Notre Dame, and it appears he has made the right decision so far.

If he’s anything like his father then the NBA is set for another period of dominance, just when it looked like James would step away from the league and hand over the crown to another star. But there’s still a long way to go for Bryce, with competition for NBA Draft selection higher than ever.
The 2023 NBA Draft class was unique, with Victor Wembanyama declared as one of the most unique talents seen since James himself. The 7-foot-4 Frenchman instantly became the tallest player in the NBA, and after a tough debut for the San Antonio Spurs in Summer League he showed his quality in his second game.
