LeBron James is one of the best athletes in the world with 3 championship rings and 4 MVP titles in his career.

In addition to spending millions of dollars per bed on “body maintenance”, LeBron himself and his personal fitness coach shared the secret to maintaining the best shape in the 16th season playing in the NBA. .

“Sleep 8 hours a day. Every day. It’s the best way for the human body to recover both physically and mentally” – LeBron James shared.

However, it is not as simple as going to bed every night and waking up every morning. Mike Mancias, LeBron’s personal trainer, also shared other secrets: “I don’t want to reveal all, but I will share a few of the most basic.

First, LeBron’s room must be extremely comfortable. Creating an environment of absolute relaxation is very important to LeBron, especially at room temperature. The air conditioner should always be set at 20-21 degrees Celsius (68-70 degrees Fahrenheit).

Second, all light sources must be turned off within 45 minutes before LeBron goes to sleep. LeBron’s room must be completely dark and no devices should light up, not even televisions or cell phones.

Besides light and temperature, soothing sounds are also important to LeBron’s sleep. Sometimes he sleeps with sounds like rain falling, gentle breeze…”

Mr. Mike Mancias said that by all means let James sleep at least 7 hours a day. His goal is 8 hours, but sometimes LeBron can sleep 9 or 10 hours depending on the condition.

For days when evening sleep is not enough to meet the required number of hours, LeBron will take advantage of a lunch break of 1 to 2 more hours during the day.

“I can apply ice, use technology to help with recovery like NormaTecs … These things are great but not the most important thing,” LeBron James shared.

“When you get a good night’s sleep and get enough sleep, you wake up refreshed. Without an alarm, you still open your eyes and think you’re ready.”
