Enzo is an extraordinary dog, not only due to his irresistibly cute appearance but also because of his unique genetic condition called pigmented somatic cell mutation. This condition has resulted in a black marking on his face, but it has not affected his health in any way. According to his owner, Ella Castro, most golden retrievers possess a “modifier gene” that turns their base black coat into a golden one. However, Enzo has a slight variation in his DNA that eradicated this modifier gene solely on the area of his face where the black marking appears. Enzo’s charming looks and heartwarming story have captivated many on social media, with his Instagram account gaining popularity among pet enthusiasts worldwide.
Enzo Viola, a furry and adorable dog, has gained quite a following on Instagram. Described as an “English Cream with a lil Freckle,” Enzo loves to nap, steal socks, take long walks, give endless kisses, and snuggle up in a fuzzy blanket. Enzo’s unique feature is a black splotch on one side of his face, which is the result of a rare genetic mutation that he was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 with.
Enzo Viola, a charming golden retriever, boasts a distinct characteristic that sets him apart from his canine counterparts. Unlike most in his breed, who usually have a uniform fur color, Enzo’s coat is uniquely speckled, earning him the nickname “Lorenzo deMedici Splotch Viola.” Additionally, Enzo has another unique trait in that he is larger than the average golden retriever. Overall, Enzo is a special and beloved pup with a one-of-a-kind appearance.
Enzo stands out from other dogs solely based on his physical appearance, but deep down he is just like any other playful pup who enjoys getting dirty in the mud.
