Inter Miami ran out 3-1 winners on Los Angeles FC’s home ground

Inter Miami took home an impressive 3-1 victory over Los Angeles FC on Sunday night.

Leo Messi was once again in fine form, demonstrating his quality by giving a fabulous pass to Jordi Alba to score with his left foot. Just before the end of the match he did it again when he provided an assist in a spectacular counter-attack finished by Leonardo Campana.

The match also featured countless celebrities who didn’t want to miss the show. Prince Henry, Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez, Gerard Butler, Liam Gallagher and LeBron James were among the celebrities who attended the match.

Despite the many positives, the Argentine had a few scary incidents. In the second half of the match a fan wearing a Barcelona shirt entered from one of the stands behind the goal and went straight to hug Leo.

Then, at the end of the match there was a close call that nearly ended disastrously. As Messi was leaving the field of play, a fan threw a bottle at Messi from the stands.

The object in question didn’t hit Messi, but it did catch one of employees who was in the tunnel. In the video, the man bends down while touching his face with his hands.

After having greeted the fans and signed several autographs, Messi, now shirtless, then headed to the tunnel to enter the locker room.
