It’s been quite the week for Manchester United. It’s now been seven days since Jadon Sancho publicly rebutted Erik ten Hag’s decision to drop him from the matchday squad against Arsenal due to training levels.
Sancho claims he has been a ‘scapegoat for a long time’ although MEN Sport understands Ten Hag is standing by his comments. Victor Lindelof has been the first United player to comment on the matter.
He said the United dressing room is ‘calm’ and insisted the squad is a tight group that is unaffected by outside noise. Lindelof started for Sweden in their Euro 2024 win over Estonia on Saturday despite coming off against Arsenal feeling unwell.
