The drive along the Brown County ridgetop will take you to the rustic log cabin that is surrounded with native hardwoods and blue skies. You’ll be welcomed by a large living area with comfortable furniture around a stone fire place with gas logs as you enter the log cabin. The cabin comes with a large screen satellite HDTV as well as WiFi, so you can enjoy it throughout your vacation. You can also choose to read, nap, or sit on the wraparound porch to listen to raindrops hitting the metal roof of the cabin.
The cabin features a spacious kitchen and dining area adjacent to the living space. It has a table large enough for two people or a group (if you have been generous to include some of your closest and dearest friends in your travel plans). There are French Doors at the end of dining room that lead to a small back patio. From there, you can access a new deck which has a spacious hot tub. You’ll go to bed on the second floor by climbing the stairs. The main bedroom is a large room with a king size bed. In the second bedroom, there’s a smaller space with a queen size bed. Each bedroom has an integrated window seat, which is great for reading or watching as the moon rises over the trees. The bedrooms are connected by a full bathroom on second floor. However, there is a convenient half-bath located on the first floor.
The Dogwood Point Cabin is conveniently located between Nashville and Bean Blossom, so you can enjoy the attractions of either place within a few scenic miles. You may have the opportunity to visit the Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival as well as the Greg Schatz Ceramics Studio, the Flower and Herb Barn and Remember Me Antiques in the Bean Blossom region to the north. To the south of Nashville, you can visit the Hob Nob Corner Restaurant or Brown County Playhouse Theater. Or, spend a few hours browsing the shops and galleries. Dogwood Point and Brown County will satisfy your desire to spend your free time.
The cabin does not allow pets. The cabin has a landline, high-speed fiber optic WiFi calling/internet and accommodates 2-6 people. It also includes a deck with a firepit and satellite HDTV.
