Keith Gordon – famed for being “Britain’s most tattooed dad” – spoke candidly about body art he’s been avoiding because it’s proven to be so dangerous

“Britain’s most tattooed” dad doesn’t shy away from painful procedures.

But Keith Gordon, from Hornchurch in Es𝓈ℯ𝓍, spoke to Daily Star about body art he’d be reluctant to get.

Despite having his eyelids inked, the 67-year-old wouldn’t touch the eyeballs.

He exclusively told Daily Star: “I wouldn’t get my eyeballs tattooed – the actual whites of the eyes.

“I feel like it’s just an unknown territory. It’s not been done long enough to be sure it’s not dangerous.

“Also I don’t really feel the need for it as I’m so heavily covered anyway – I don’t need to have that sort of risk.”

Keith is definitely wise to avoid needling his eyeballs – as body modification fans have blinded themselves by doing so.

Law student Anaya Peterson, from Belfast, “looked like she’d had five rounds with Mike Tyson” after getting the work done.

She now regrets it – and commented: “I don’t have 20/20 vision anymore. From a distance, I can’t see features on faces.”

Meanwhile, Aussie tattoo model Amber Luke was blinded for weeks after getting inked in her eyes.

She recalled: “I can’t even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like [the tattoo artist] grabbed 10 shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye.

“That happened four times per eye…

“Unfortunately, my artist went too deep into my eyeball. If your eyeball procedure is done correctly, you’re not supposed to go blind at all. I was blind for three weeks. That was pretty brutal.”

And Polish lass Aleksandra Sadowska sued a tattoo studio after the tatts went wrong.

After inking her eyes black, she lost one of them and went blind in the other.

Following the botched job in 2017, she was awarded £28,000 in damages.

Tattoo model Sarah Sabbath, from Texas, suffered similar vision problems after inking her eyes.

But unlike others, she claimed to have “no regrets” about the procedure.

She said: “I had a very difficult time doing anything – I could not watch TV, I didn’t like being around bright lights and I didn’t like being outside. I got very, very depressed from it…

“I ended up going to an eye doctor and got several eye drops for my eyes. I feel better but they still bother me pretty badly.

“I don’t regret getting my eyes done because what has happened has made me a better person.”
