Since then, this log cottage has been moved to a new location, and laborious repair work has been done on it. This is a vacation rental that welcomes furry friends.

The upper level of this rustic log cabin in the woods that can be rented out boasts a California king-sized bed, in addition to other modern conveniences.

The Kitchen

Even though the rest of the house has a real rustic aspect, the kitchen is a more modern addition to the house than the rest of the house.

It is equipped with full-sized equipment, including a refrigerator that has a log cabinet front and can be disguised in the design without impeding the flow of the space. The rustic character is maintained by the use of wood log cabinetry.

This entry will take you to the first bedroom of the two that are found on the main level. We are grateful for the careful attention to detail that was shown in the construction of this space, such as the incorporation of the light fixtures into the logs that were used to line the walls.

A wall that is constructed out of half-logs is one of the additions to this log cabin that has quickly become one of our favorites.

The Bathroom of the Log Cabin

Given the size of the rest of the house, the bathroom has a surprisingly generous amount of space. It comes with a large shower, but if you prefer, you may have the space converted into a bathroom with a combination tub and shower instead.

This bathroom has sufficient area for a normal flush toilet, a wall-mounted sink, and a storage shelf to be installed.
