Brilliant African Lady graduates as a Civil Engineer from US university while nursing her son, celebrates achievement

A young and brilliant African Lady who hailed from The Gambia, Khadijah Ceesay has graduated from Howard University, Washington DC, United States despite having to combine her studies with caring for her newš›šØš«š§ son.

Khadijah who graduated with a Bachelorā€™s degree in Civil Engineering celebrated her achievement on Twitter noting that she was resilient and never gave up when things got tough for her during her academic journey.

Holding her handsome son, Khadijah wrote: ā€œI just want my son to know his mum is resilient and she never gave up! Full time Mum. Full Time Student. & Now Full time Civil Engineer!ā€

During her academic studies at Howard University, she served as the President of the Howard University Muslim Studentā€™s Association. She also underwent an internship at Amazon as a Transport Engineering intern.

Khadijah also worked as an M-Fellow at the United States NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration and in June 2022, she joined Tooles Design in Maryland, United States as an Engineering Intern.

In another story, an exceptional 23-year-old Lady named Montoya Timaya Major achieved tremendous success in the United States after earning three degrees from Nova Southeastern University at a time she single-handedly nursed her newš›šØš«š§ twin.

Montoya Timaya who narrated her struggles and success on Facebook said she had to go through a lot of challenges alone which included having a C-section to deliver her twins.

Despite all that, she was proud to have earned a second Bachelorā€™s degree in Cardiovascular Sonography and a Masterā€™s in Health Science.
