It comes after Ronaldo was rewarded for his fine goalscoring form in Saudi Arabia with a place in the FifPro World XI nominations.

Ronaldo’s property portfolio already includes a number of lavish homes around Europe.

He began construction on a new £7million mansion in Portugal in 2021 to add to his luxury Madeira villa.

His portfolio also features properties in Manchester, Turin, Marbella and Madrid.

According to Bloomberg, the 38-year-old has bought a multi-million property on the secluded enclave.

The report adds that Ronaldo is set to see the mega-mansion completed at some point in 2024.

It is rumoured to be priced in the region of tens of millions of pounds.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner and his family will stay at the mansion during their trips to Dubai.

He and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren together and live with Ronaldo’s three other 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

His eldest son Cristiano Jr. was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 2010, before he fathered twins via surrogacy in 2017.

A separate mansion on the island measures 30,000 square metres and has six bedrooms, a private beach and a showroom for seven cars.

The property also boasts a swimming pool with a view of Dubai and accommodation for employees.

Jumeirah Bay Island is better known as “Billionaire’s Island” and is the home of the super rich in Dubai.

Its moniker comes from the sheer number of billionaires on the island per square km, more than any other location in the United Arab Emirates.

The gated community includes fine-dining restaurants, a yacht club and a beach resort directly facing the ocean.

Opened in 2017, there are 10 mega-mansions on the island, which were expected to be sold for £430million in total once completed.

Property prices on the man-made island have skyrocketed since the pandemic, according to the Khaleej Times.

Just last April, a 24,500 square foot plot of sand was sold for a record £27million, surpassing the previous biggest sale of £19.5million.
