Fans have been left gobsmacked after finding out Anne Hathaway’s real age.
Sometimes you have people who age in a way that is, let’s say, less than flattering.
Meanwhile, others do so beyond gracefully, showcasing their lived experience and remaining curious and full of joy about the world.
Speaking personally, I’d want to choose the second option.
But there is also a third group of people here.
These are people who pull something of a Bilbo Baggins, in that they don’t appear to visibly age at all.
Like the ring-bearing hobbit from Lord of the Rings, decades might go by without any notable change in a person’s appearance.
Is it witchcraft? Sorcery? Genetic good luck? Lifestyle? Who can say?

The award-winning actor has been on our screens since the early 2000s, starring in a whole host of movies including Les Misérables, The Devil Wears Prada, and Interstellar.
However, it seems that many people didn’t realize her real age.
Hathaway is, in fact, 41 years old.
It comes after clips of Hathaway resurfaced on TikTok showing her at different stages of her career, and just how little her appearance has changed.

Fans have taken to the comments to share their thoughts on the discovery, with one saying that Hathaway ‘doesn’t age at all,’ while another added: “She looks so good.”
Someone else even joked that there must be a reason that Hathaway hasn’t aged, writing: “She’s a vampire.”
The actor previously opened up about how things have changed since she started in the entertainment industry.
Last year, she told Today’s Sheinelle Jones: “I started in this business when I was 17 years old, in a very different era.
“There was this perception that there was going to be a cliff, and that cliff was a really young age. And the world’s changed since then.”
Hathaway went on to speak frankly about her experience when people ask her questions about aging.
She also addressed comments such as ‘you’re aging gracefully’ or the ‘compliment’ that ‘you look good for your age’.
Hathaway had the perfect response to such claims, saying: “I don’t think about age. To me, aging is another word for living.”
And when you think about it, it’s a good way of looking at it!
Wrinkles aren’t ‘imperfections’, and imagine calling something a ‘laugh-line’ and making out like it’s a bad thing.
