“Poor Things” star Emma Stone is racking up wins in Hollywood—and real estate.
The actress, who received an Oscar nomination Tuesday for her role in the 2023 film, has also found a buyer for her Los Angeles home less than 10 days after listing it for $3.995 million, said listing agent Eric Lavey of Sotheby’s International Realty – Beverly Hills Brokerage.

More than 100 people attended an Open House the first weekend, Lavey said, and the Westwood property received multiple offers. He declined to share the contract price but said, “everyone will be very pleased.”
Stone didn’t respond to a request for comment. The “La La Land” and “Cruella” star paid $2.3 million for the house in 2019, records show. Located in the sought-after enclave of Comstock Hills, the property includes a circa-1920s Spanish-style main residence. The estate spans roughly 3,276 square feet with a total of four bedrooms between the main house and guesthouse.

After buying the property, Stone added the guesthouse and renovated the main residence, expanding the home while retaining original details such as beamed ceilings and a tiled courtyard.
Although L.A.’s real-estate market has slowed since last year, Lavey said demand is strong for move-in ready homes, particularly those priced under $5 million.

In addition to Stone’s celebrity status, the home generated buzz because houses in this neighborhood trade infrequently, he said. The renovated property also resonated with buyers who want move-in ready conditions. “To be honest, people were just really enthralled with the property,” he said. “I just think the property spoke.”
In 2022, Stone sold her Malibu home for $4.425 million about a month after listing it.

The 35-year-old actress, who has a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with husband Dave McCary, had been using the Westwood home as a pied-à-terre when she and her family were in L.A. An Arizona native, Stone purchased a house in Austin, Texas, in 2021, and has an apartment in Manhattan, which she bought for $3.56 million in 2018.
In addition to the Oscar nod, Stone won a Golden Globe for her role in “Poor Things.” She is set to appear in Yorgos Lanthimos’ upcoming movie “Kinds of Kindness.”
During the third quarter of 2023, the number of L.A. single-family home sales dropped 2.3% year-over-year while the median sale price dropped 5.2% from 2022’s third quarter, according to real-estate appraisal firm Miller Samuel.
