PSG will be undergoing many changes next season. Several of their players will leave the French club, including Sergio Ramos and, now, Leo Messi.
Coach Christophe Galtier confirmed the departure of Messi before their final Ligue 1 game on Saturday.
“I had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of football. It will be Leo’s last game at the Parc des Princes against Clermont,” he said at a press conference on Friday morning.
This departure will have great repercussions in the media and, of course, on his friend Neymar: “Brother… it didn’t work out as we thought but we tried everything. It was a pleasure to share two more years with you,” he wrote on social media.
“Good luck in your new stage and may you be happy. I love you.”
PSG are now looking for different kinds of player profiles, hence the departure of Messi and Sergio Ramos.
