In an interview with FIBA, several members of Team USA were asked about the sport they’ll be good at other than basketball. Steph Curry went with golf, which was not surprising, while Kevin Durant and Anthony Edwards chose swimming.
Jrue Holiday thought he could excel in anything but chose volleyball and swimming, and Derrick White went with baseball. But what about Booker? Here’s his four-word response to the question:
“Honestly, none of them.”Trending

It’s an honest answer from Devin Booker, who only played basketball in high school and college before getting drafted into the NBA. Booker is a hooper for life just like his teammate Kevin Durant, although he had an answer, which was swimming.
It makes sense for Durant given his height and length, while Anthony Edwards should really excel at anything. Edwards chose swimming, but it should be pointed out that he was a football standout in high school. Golf made sense for Steph Curry since he’s always been interested in turning pro and Derrick White chose baseball just to have an answer.
Two-way sport basketball athletes are rare with Danny Ainge as the only candidate to do two sports at a high level. Ainge was mostly known for playing for the Boston Celtics, but he did have a short career in the MLB with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Devin Booker will have his third head coach in three years next season since appearing in the 2021 NBA Finals. The Phoenix Suns fired head coach Frank Vogel after a very disappointing first year, wherein they got swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs.
Vogel was a championship-winning coach with the LA Lakers that featured LeBron James and Anthony Davis. He knew a thing or two about coaching top stars but it didn’t work out with Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.
The Suns replaced Vogel with Mike Budenholzer, another championship-winning head coach with experience in handling stars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday. Booker is looking forward to getting to know more about Budenholzer’s playbook following his stint with Team USA.
“He’s a winner, he’s a champion. He’s done it multiple times. He’s very punctual. He knows what he wants. He’s communicated that already. We’ve had short conversations. I’m sure there will be more getting closer to the season,” Booker told Arizona Sports earlier this month.
