The discussion over the NBA‘s GOAT often comes down to LeBron James and Michael Jordan, and WWE star Randy Orton made it abundantly clear who he’s not backing in a new video.
While sitting down with Cody Rhodes in a video for the WWE’S official YouTube page, Orton revealed his harsh view on James, who has won four NBA titles and just helped Team USA capture a gold medal in Paris.
‘F*** LeBron,’ Orton said.
The 44-year-old wrestler, though, did not mention Jordan either.
He later sounded off on the subject of a GOAT in the WWE world.
LeBron James and Michael Jordan are often pitted against each other in NBA GOAT debates
And WWE star Randy Orton made it clear that he does not hold a favorable view of James
‘I don’t think there is a GOAT… I like the Mount Rushmore,’ he said.
‘I like who’s your top 5, top 10, even top 20. But, the GOAT, I don’t think he exists.’
As noted by Fox News, Orton has 14 world title reigns in WWE, while Ric Flair and John Cena jointly hold the record with 16 each.
James added a third Olympic gold medal to his collection last week when he and Team USA beat hosts France in the gold medal game.
The 39-year-old played a pivotal role alongside Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant and showed why he’s still considered one of the world’s best players two decades into his career.
Jordan retired after the 2002-03 season but put together a legendary catalogue featuring six NBA championships, five MVP wins and two gold medals himself.
Regardless of how Orton feels about the ex-Chicago star, it’s clear that he’s not moved by James’ long list of accomplishments.
