Although the transaction documents were signed last year, the public has only now learned that music star Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Rhode Bieber spent $16.6 million to own a magnificent villa in California (USA).
The property is located in The Madison Club – an extremely wealthy and private celebrity area in the Coachella Valley. Here, the couple became neighbors with Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner.
Built in 2009, the home was last sold in April 2019 for $6.3 million to investor Alon Abady, who then flipped the home to Bieber just four years later for more than double what he paid.
Because the house has never been on the open market, details are scarce and photos are few. But it’s clear from aerial views that Abady has given the French-influenced estate a sleek, modern makeover during his four years of ownership.
Perhaps most notably, he replaced the original outdoor pool with a massive Olympic-length infinity pool that runs nearly the entire width of the backyard. There are also sports courts, lawns, a detached guest house, a four-car garage, and two separate racing courts with parking for more than a dozen cars.
According to tax records, the couple’s home has 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. The space is surrounded by lots of greenery.
However, Justin Bieber’s main residence is a classic-modern villa in Beverly Park, Los Angeles. This house was built in the late 1980s. In 2015, the villa was put up for sale for $42 million after being renovated and redecorated. After many price reductions, Justin and his wife bought it for $25.8 million.
The home features 7 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and a host of high-end amenities. A grand two-story foyer features black and white checkered stone floors, along with an elegant curved staircase.
Justin Bieber reportedly bought his first home in Calabasas, California. The villa was built in 2005 and was designed in a Mediterranean architectural style, with an area of nearly 840 m2 with 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The singer sold the villa in 2014 for 7.2 million USD.
In the summer of 2018, just a month after their marriage, the pop star bought a $5 million country-style mansion in Puslinch, Canada. In 2019, the couple bought an $8.5 million mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, which they sold in February 2021.
The 30-year-old former teen pop sensation sold his music rights through 2022 last year for $200 million.
