Taylor Swift rekindles feud with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West in new album

The conflict between Taylor Swift and Kanye West – Kim Kardashian has consumed a lot of media ink.

On April 19, Taylor Swift released a new album called The Tortured Poets Department, causing curiosity with many details aimed at her ex-boyfriend. Two hours after its release, the singer 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 1989 revealed on social media the second part of the album with the subtitle The Anthology. Among the series of songs released later, the song titled thanK you aIMee received the most attention. The song’s name is written in lowercase, with only 3 characters: K, I, M in uppercase to form the word “KIM”. The song’s content expresses the main character’s annoyance with a mean girl called Aimee, containing many details that make fans believe that this star is singing about Kim’s ” super butt”.

The lyrics include: “All the time you were throwing punches, I was building ‘something’/And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel/Screaming ‘fuck, Aimee’ into the night sky as the blood poured/But I can’t forget how you made my wounds heal.” In another verse, the singer mentions that her relationship with Aimee wasn’t a fair fight or a straightforward assault. She was bullied, ridiculed, and laughed at by Aimee.

After thanK you aIMee was released, many Taylor Swift fans flooded Kim Kardashian’s page, mocking her as “Aimee”

Player Taylor Swift also confirmed that she had changed the name of the woman she was referring to: “And one day, your 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 came home and hummed a song that only the two of us knew was about you.” This line reminded many people of the time when North West (10 years old) – Kim’s daughter, once danced to Taylor’s song Shake It Off in a video posted on TikTok. This detail made netizens even more convinced that “Aimee” in the song was Kim Kardashian in real life.

Taylor Swift’s new album also has a song called Cassandra about a girl who was slandered and framed by bad guys, despite her best efforts to explain, no one believed her, and was then unjustly “stoned” by the crowd and locked up in a prison full of snakes. The song’s content mentions “calls” and “snakes”, making many people think of Kim Kardashian – Kanye West’s demotion of the 8X star in 2016.

Kanye West snatched Taylor Swift’s microphone at the 2009 VMAs, starting a long-standing feud between the two sides

The conflict between Taylor Swift and Kanye West began in 2009 when the 7X rapper stormed the VMAs stage and grabbed the microphone from the You Belong With Me singer when she won the Best Female Video award, claiming that she did not deserve the award as much as Beyonce. Since then, they have publicly criticized and put each other down in the media. The 8X singer once accused Kanye West of being two-faced, treating her well behind the scenes but always acting cool and saying rude things about her in public.

In 2016, the feud between the two sides reached its peak when Kanye West released the song Famous, which included the line: “I feel like me and Taylor Swift could fuck/Why? Because I made that bitch famous.” He said the Blank Space singer agreed to the lyrics, but she denied it. Kim later posted a recording of a call between Kanye and Taylor, proving that the two sides had agreed on the matter.

In fact, the controversial rapper discussed the lyrics with Taylor but did not specifically mention the above vulgar words, so Taylor was friendly and asked her senior to send the song after it was completed for consideration. The lyrics about her in Famous after being released were different from the content the two exchanged, making Taylor upset. However, the unclear recording caused the beauty to be criticized by public opinion as a sinister person and called a “venomous snake”. The incident made her depressed, lost faith in the people around her and went into hiding for a year. In 2017, she proudly returned with Look what you made me do as a profound response to her enemies and malicious public opinion.
