“Stay away from the Kardashians”: CFB fans warn Shedeur Sanders of the “Kardashian curse” as QB hugs Kendall Jenner

As the 2024 college football season progresses, Shedeur Sanders is gaining attention on and off the gridiron. The quarterback has found himself at the center of a fan frenzy following a brief interaction with model and media personality Kendall Jenner.

A video posted by Well Off Media, owned by his brother Deion Jr., captured Sanders meeting with Jenner and that ignited an unexpected backlash and stirred considerable online debate. This is due to the superstition linked with Jenner’s family over the years.

Known as the “Kardashian curse,” the superstition allegedly suggests that men who went into romantic relationships with the Kardashian-Jenner family experience a streak of bad luck, particularly in their professional careers. This is something the fans fear for Shedeur Sanders after linking up with Kendall Jenner.

Here’s a look at some of the reactions online:

“Noooooooo! Stay away from the Kardashians.”

Other reaction online:

“Stay the f**k away from our QB Kardashian/Jenner can’t remember the last athlete to have a successful relationship with one of those girls,” a fan wrote.

“Happened” to be in Boulder. Right. You’re next on the list Shedeur,” another fan wrote.

“We might be doomed for conference play now,” a fan commented.

“He gave her a quick church hug,” another fan commented.

“Boulder gonna get Sundance, said a fan.”

“Happened to be” nahh she was recruiting,” said another fan.

Shedeur Sanders admits saying something to Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi

Shedeur Sanders uttered some inappropriate words to his Colorado State counterpart Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi following the conclusion of the Rocky Mountain Showdown in Week 3.

The Colorado quarterback was reported to have said, “You were talking that s–t on Instagram,” reacting to Fowler-Nicolosi’s social media antics ahead of the in-state rivalry game.

Sanders acknowledged saying those words to Fowler-Nicolosi in a recent installment of his podcast “2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders.” The quarterback explained why he had to do that while citing the media’s bias in handling the entire scenario.

“Yeah, I said something because I’m just human,” Sanders admitted. “So it was like you’re not going to keep talking crazy about us and talk crazy like you’re like all the time. You’re not like that at all.”

You didn’t even have to go there but since you took it there, then it’s that. It felt like a lot of hate to me, personally. But of course, the media tried to portray it like I did something wrong. But that’s just how it is, we understood what’s going on. We don’t even get affected by it anymore.”

Following the victory against Colorado State in Week 3, Shedeur Sanders is set to lead the Buffaloes against Baylor in Week 4 as they kick off their Big 12 schedule. The quarterback remains important in the Colorado setup as they seek success in 2024.
