Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg switches from casual style to stylish items, like watches made of rare meteorite.
Mark Zuckerberg took part in the recording of the Acquired podcast in San Francisco last week, selling out the Chase Center . When the podcast aired on September 18, many viewers noticed he was wearing a De Bethune DB25 Starry Varius Aérolite watch.
This is one of the most luxurious watches, priced at $260,000 (6.4 billion VND) and only 5 are produced each year. The dial is made of meteorite with a 24-carat gold-plated galaxy pattern, and the strap is made of crocodile leather.
When contacted by Business Insider , Mark Zuckerberg and Meta did not comment.

Zuckerberg has rarely worn the accessory before. However, in a video taken at the pre-wedding party of Anant Ambani, son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan repeatedly expressed admiration for the watch Anant was wearing.
“You know, I never really wanted to buy a watch, but after seeing it, I thought watches are cool,” Zuckerberg said in the clip.
In early September, when posting a selfie with his wife, Zuckerberg also cleverly showed off his Patek Philippe. Some people asked the Meta CEO about the name of the watch model and he replied “5236P”, referring to the Patek Philippe Grand Complications In-Line Perpetual Calendar 5236P-001, priced at $141,400 (VND 3.5 billion) .
Recently, the Facebook boss has been constantly changing his style of dress and becoming more fashionable. At the Acquired event, Zuckerberg wore a shirt he designed himself, with the Greek words on it that translate to “learning through suffering”. Before that, he designed his own necklaces and wore designer clothes instead of his previous simple image of a gray T-shirt.
Acquired is a podcast hosted by Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal that covers tech mergers and IPOs. Acquired is currently ranked #48 on Apple Podcasts’ list of top podcasts.
During the recording, Zuckerberg talked about the “ 20-year mistake ” of Meta taking responsibility for problems the platform did not directly cause. He also touched on the differences in company culture between Meta and Apple, predicting that the iPhone maker would be Meta’s “main competitor” over the next decade.
