Priyanka cracked: ‘I’m from India, a country rich in culture, in music, in entertainment, so clearly the Jonas Brothers didn’t make it over there.’
The Fashion star, who is known as ‘PeeCee’ to her fans in India, took a jab at ‘how much content the Jonas Brothers post online,’ cooing over how ‘cute’ it was.
‘I’ll tell you why – ’cause all of them combined still have less followers than me. So I guess the most popular Jonas is @priyankachopra on Instagram,’ she said.

‘One of the things I love about my husband is how much we have in common. You know, for instance, we’re both totally, completely, wholly obsessed – and I mean obsessed – with Nick Jonas. We love Nick Jonas, both of us! He’s our favorite.’
Nick and Priyanka married at the end of 2018 over a three-day extravaganza at Umaid Bhawan, a formerly royal palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
After the functions in Jodhpur, including Christian and Hindu weddings, the pair had four receptions – one in New Delhi, two in Bombay and one in Charlotte.
Shortly thereafter she added ‘Jonas’ to the end of her name on Instagram and has also used it in her credits on films like The White Tiger and The Sky Is Pink.

However this week she set the rumor mill churning by removing both ‘Chopra’ and ‘Jonas’ from her Instagram name, going simply by Priyanka.
As conjecture swirled about the state of her marriage she put her fans at ease by posting a gushing comment on one of his Instagram posts.
Nick uploaded a video of himself lifting weights in a tank top that showed off his muscles and Priyanka commented: ‘Damn! I just died in your arms…’

Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, a former military doctor, told News18 the speculation about the marriage was ‘all rubbish, don’t spread rumors.’
Just after her wedding Priyanka had gone on the Indian talk show Koffee With Karan and dished about adding ‘Jonas’ to her Instagram handle.
‘But it was very funny, ’cause Nick goes: “So…name…?” I was like: “Yeah, it’s Priyanka Chopra Jonas.” He goes: “On Insta?” And I was like: “Oh, that’s when it’s official, correct,”‘ she recalled to host Karan Johar.

Priyanka, who spent part of her adolescence in the US, also told Karan how marrying an American increased her appreciation for holidays like Thanksgiving.
‘I mean, it’s culturally it’s so different I guess, but they are so embracive of everything here,’ shared the Bajirao Mastani actress.
‘For me, it’s culturally different when I go to, you know, his family and like doing Thanksgiving, which we used to do just for fun and now it’s like, it’s important.’
