“Who’s the 𝓈ℯ𝓍iest podcast host in America?” asked no one ever. Former University of Cincinnati Bearcat and current Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, a former Philadelphia Eagles and UC offensive lineman have been named the Sexiest Podcast Hosts of 2024 by People Magazine.
According to the pop culture site, the Kelce brothers “bring twice the fun to the podcast space” with their show “New Heights.”
Other stars featured in this category include actor Penn Badgley, host of “Podcrushed;” actor Josh Peck, co-host of “Good Guys” and journalist T.J. Holmes, co-host of “Amy & T.J.”
To determine its ranking, People conducted a readers’ choice poll which received nearly 350,000 votes across 15 categories ranging from “Sexiest Musician” to “Sexiest Supportive Partner in Sports.” Readers also weighed in through social media and the website’s comment section.
People will reveal its Sexiest Man Alive of 2024 on Nov. 12.
What is the ‘New Heights’ podcast?
The “New Heights” podcast, launched in 2022, is a football-focused podcast hosted by the Kelce brothers, who are both Super Bowl champions. During the weekly show, they discuss their performance on the field, funny life stories and their takes on trending NFL and general sports news.
“New Heights” is one of the top podcasts on Spotify. It has also garnered a significant following on social media, boasting 4.4 million followers on TikTok, 2.7 million on Instagram, 2.46 million subscribers on YouTube and about 466,200 followers on X.
“New Heights” also won the Podcast of the Year Award at the iHeart Radio Podcast Awards on March 11.
