Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas wed this weekend.
And to celebrate their union, the two posed for Vogue’s new January 2019 cover.
On Monday two new images of the power couple from the shoot by Annie Liebovitz were shared. The images evoked Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights.

Priyanka, 36, went barefoot in a simple off white gown with the straps sliding off her shoulders as she lay across her man’s lap on a heath.
In another photo, the couple cuddled up on their feet, with Priyanka tugging at the neckline of Nick’s tee while he slipped a hand inside the back of her dress.
They held their wedding functions at the sumptuous Umaid Bhawan palace in Jodhpur over the weekend, beginning on Friday with a Christian service officiated by Nick’s pastor father Paul Jonas and ending Sunday with a Hindu ceremony.
The couple arrived in New Delhi Monday for their Tuesday reception in the capital, where their guest list is rumored to include Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Priyanka was wearing her choora – her ceremonial bangles – as well as her sindhoor, a streak of vermilion along the part in her hair indicating she is a married woman.

Photos and videos have been steadily going public from their Vogue feature, including a clip of Nick serenading Priyanka with his 2016 song Close.
In their joint Vogue profile, Nick recalls sliding into Priyanka’s DMs in September 2016 to ask her out. She wrote: ‘My team can read this. Why don’t you just text me.’
Their texts were ‘friendly with an eye toward flirtation’ for months until the next year’s Vanity Fair Oscars party, where he says he was so overcome by the sight of her that he went down ‘on one knee – this is in front of a bunch of people – and I say: “You’re real. Where have you been all my life?” Like, loud.’
They met for a drink at Manhattan’s swank Carlyle Hotel and she invited him up to her apartment – innocently, since her mother Madhu was there.

Still, she was slightly miffed that all she got out of him was a ‘back pat,’ though as Nick argued: ‘Your mom was in the house! I thought it was a respectful first night.’
Shortly thereafter, they walked the 2017 Met Gala for Ralph Lauren – the designer Priyanka wore for her Christian wedding Friday, PinkVilla reports.
After the ‘back pat’ date, a year elapsed before they finally wound up in each other’s company again, with the occasion being the 2018 Met Gala this May.
Their relationship from that point moved rapidly into a proposal this July on a trip to Crete that was ostensibly for Priyanka’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day.
