Elon Musk: “I Just Confronted Xi Jinping & Noticed Something Disturbing About Him!”

Elon Musk, Xi Jinping’s Meeting Highlights Major Ideological Differences

The recent meeting between Elon Musk and Chinese President Xi Jinping highlighted the two leaders’ major ideological differences when it comes to technology and governance. Musk, with his vision of a technological future for the benefit of the individual, has expressed deep concerns about Xi’s view of technology – one that prioritizes state control over individual freedom and innovation.

Debate over artificial intelligence (AI) and privacy

During the conversation, the two leaders debated AI, with Musk emphasizing the need for ethical principles to ensure that the technology serves humanity, protects individual rights, and prevents abuse. Xi, however, appeared to support the use of AI for surveillance and social control, arguing that it is a way to maintain social order. Musk expressed concerns about China’s heavy surveillance system and its impact on privacy and personal freedom. Xi Jinping defended this view, calling it a necessary measure to maintain stability in society.

Different visions on space exploration

The discussion on space exploration also showed a clear difference in the two men’s visions. Xi Jinping expressed China’s ambition to become a leading power in this field, while Musk dreamed of a future of international cooperation and solidarity between nations in space activities. Musk believes that space exploration should be a journey for all of humanity, not just any country.

Musk’s commitment to ethical technology

After the meeting, Musk doubled down on his commitment to ethical technology, focusing on transparency, privacy, and the importance of open source initiatives. He plans to call on tech leaders and the public to support a future where technology benefits individuals and communities, rather than being used for authoritarian control. Musk hopes that through this effort, the world will move toward a future where technology truly liberates, empowers, and protects people.
