Chelsea legend Samuel Eto’o’s expensive villa in Italy, a symbol of his wealth and successful career

Samuel Eto’o, a former striker for Chelsea and Everton, reportedly spent a substantial quantity of money to acquire an Italian villa, as reported by Corriere Dello Sport.

Eto’o reportedly purchased the £18.5 million Italian mansion despite locals advising him that it is plagued by the Tutankhamun curse.

The Cameroonian footballer has acquired the historic property in Portofino, northern Italy, in close proximity to Genoa.

Villa Altachiara was formerly under the ownership of Lord Carnarvon, a notorious individual associated with the ‘Curse of the Pharaoh’ enchantment.

.

On February 16, 1923, Lord Carnarvon and the renowned English archaeologist Howard Carter first entered the ‘cursed’ burial site of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun, where they had discovered his tomb.

Notably, eight of the 58 individuals in attendance at the unveiling of Tutankhamun’s long-lost mausoleum perished within a span of twelve years.
