Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas opted for an intimate 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day celebration for their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, who turned two on Monday. The couple’s fan page shared glimpses of the low-key event on social media, featuring a beach walk and an intimate celebration with family and friends, including Cavanaugh James and Divya Akhouri. Malti, dressed in a red outfit, was seen enjoying the festivities.

During the celebration, Nick’s younger brother, Franklin Jonas, played the role of photographer, capturing special moments from the event.

The couple welcomed Malti Marie in January 2022 through surrogacy and brought her home on Mother’s Day. In a recent interview with E!, Priyanka revealed that they chose surrogacy due to her medical complications. She said, “I had medical complications.” The actor added, “This was a necessary step, and I’m so grateful I was in a position where I could do this. Our surrogate was so generous, kind, lovely and funny, and she took care of this precious gift for us for six months.”

The family also celebrated the New Year in Mexico, with Priyanka sharing pictures later, reflecting on the challenges of 2023. She expressed hopes for a peaceful and joyous 2024, emphasising the importance of holding loved ones close. In terms of upcoming projects, Priyanka Chopra is set to appear in Heads of State and will also seen in Farhan Akhtar Jee Le Zaraa that also stars Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in lead roles
