“I love all my siblings, but I think with Rob, I identify with him so much,” Khloé said of her relationship with her brother, sharing how they’ve both been each other’s “protectors”

Khloé Kardashian’s bond with her brother Rob Kardashian is unlike the ones she has with her sisters.

The Kardashians star, 40, revealed that her relationship with her private brother, 37, holds a special place in her heart. Though she’s close with all of her famous siblings, Khloé admitted that she relates to Rob in a totally different way.

“I love all my siblings, but I think with Rob, I identify with him so much,” she told Bustle. “I feel so deeply what he feels — the struggles that he has, or just wanting to be out of the public eye, or just feeling like he doesn’t fit in or is being judged about his appearance.”

She explained, “I feel like we were raised in pairs: It was Kourtney and Kim, and then it was me and Rob, and then Kendall and Kylie. And I just feel like we are both each other’s protectors. I love him so much. It’s just innate.”

Rob previously appeared on E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, as well as Rob & Chyna, but he has since taken a step back from the public eye and decided to live life away from the cameras — particularly amid his turmoil with his ex-fiancée Blac Chyna, which included revenge porn, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and infidelity claims and a defamation lawsuit filed by the model against Rob’s family.

Despite his need for privacy, the Arthur George designer has continued to make rare appearances at family gatherings.

In a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé revealed that Rob may finally return to the family’s Hulu reality series, years after he retreated from the spotlight.

“I do think Rob would come back to the show,” Khloé shared after being asked by a producer if he would ever appear on the revamped series. “He talks about it a lot, he does, but I do know that Rob has been through a lot personally.”

“He’s literally the best dad I know and I’m so proud of him for that,” she continued of Rob, who shares daughter Dream, 6, with Chyna. “And I know that he is feeling really good about himself and I’m happy for him so I have faith that, soon, he’ll be back on the show.”
